FLEET STREET HAIR SHOPPE IS HAPPY TO SEE YOU!*

*As per Governor Beshear, the dates for opening are fluid and subject to change.

New Policies for your appointment:

Our new normal comes with some new guidelines (posted below) that we need to follow as per Governor Beshear and the Kentucky Board of Cosmetology.

Please note that these are subject to change if the Kentucky Board of Cosmetology posts new guidelines for COVID-19.

New guidelines for all appointments:

  • Please arrive early for your scheduled appointment.

  • Late arrivals will need to reschedule, no exceptions.

  • As we need to close our waiting area, we ask that you please remain in your car prior to your appointment. We will text or call you using the number on file in our system. Please make sure we have an updated number so we don't have any issues.

  • Please bring only the necessary items in with you; coats should stay in the car.

  • No food or beverages will be allowed in the salon. We love offering you refreshments, but unfortunately, that will not be possible at this time.

  • Every client is required to wear a mask for the duration of their service. We ask that you put on your mask prior to exiting your vehicle or you may purchase a disposable mask for $2.00, which will be added on to the final cost. ** PLEASE NOTE: if you are receiving a color service, your mask may get stained.

  • Failure to wear a mask will result in the cancelation of your appointment. Masks are required as per the infection control and safety regulation 201 KAR 12:100 for the Kentucky Board of Cosmetology.

  • Your masks need to be the kind that attaches around the ear. The masks that need to be tied at the back of the head will not work as the stylists will work on your hair.

  • All stylists will wear masks and gloves for the duration of the appointment.

  • You will need to answer a few questions about your health before each service. A link to a consent form will be sent to you the day before the appointment.

  • Each client will have their temperature checked upon arrival using an infrared thermometer.

  • Conversation will need to be kept at a minimum. As much as we love to chat with you and hear how you're doing, we're trying to help prevent the spread of germs.

  • For those with long color appointments, please bring your own reading material.

  • We will not be able to accommodate any last-minute service add-ons.

  • Your stylist will help facilitate payment at the end of your appointment.

  • Guidelines for kids' cuts: appointments for kids can be made if the child is a regular of the stylist and gets a usual cut AND/OR does not need to be supervised/accompanied by an adult AND/OR can make their own decision as to the haircut and style; only the person receiving the service is allowed in due to COVID-19 regulations.

  • Please have your ride (including parents) wait in the car during your appointment or they can drop you off and pick you up at the end of your appointment.

  • Cancellations will need to be made 24 hours in advance so we can fill your appointment with a client on our waiting list.

***If appointments are canceled less than 24 hours of the scheduled time, you will be charged for that appointment at the time of rescheduling.

No walk-ins will be allowed at this time.

Pre-book your appointments. - We expect schedules to be tight in the upcoming months as we settle into our new normal. We ask that you book your next appointment or series of appointments in advance.

Waxing, facials, beard trims, and massage services will not be offered at this time to keep you and our stylists safe.

We will not be able to assist clients in entering and exiting the building. Caregivers should bring any equipment needed for mobility such as a wheelchair, walker, etc. as our employees will no longer be able to assist with entering/exiting the building or parked vehicles.

Due to the regulations placed on salons, we are only allowing one client per stylist in at a time. Only the person receiving a service will be allowed in the building.

No pets may accompany clients during this time.

If you are sick or showing signs of illness, please reschedule your appointment. Clients that arrive showing symptoms of any illness will be rescheduled a minimum of 14 days later depending on availability.

PLEASE FILL OUT AND SUBMIT THE CONSENT FORM BEFORE YOUR APPOINTMENT
